Ukraine judicial reform

Andrii Biletskyi (TPP Associate) and Laure-Hélène Piron (TPP Director) are assessing the current state of judicial reforms in Ukraine in order to advise UK government policy and programme priorities.

The UK is already providing assistance to judicial reform in Ukraine though the International Development Law Organization. It is also assisting Ukraine bring war criminals to justice.

This scoping study adopts a political economy approach to identify barriers and opportunities for further reforms, and where the UK could make the most significant contributions. 

The project is being delivered through the Democratic Governance Centre of Expertise funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and managed by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy.
