Andrew Barnett is an economist with over 40 years of experience of development. He is internationally known for his work on energy, research and technology policy in developing countries. He has experience of international development assistance as a government economist, consultant, research manager, and policy researcher. He has also worked at the Science Policy Research Unit at the Sussex University, the Institute of Development Studies, Practical Action and for Canada's International Development Research Centre. He is an Honorary Fellow at SPRU, and Honorary Associate at IDS.
