This story looks at how three generations of UK-funded governance programmes helped establish the Open Government Partnership in Nigeria at federal and state level, with a focus on Kaduna's citizens feedback and budget transparency initiatives and Kano's public complaints and anti-corruption work, and at the challenges that remain in embedding open government principles.
