Ana Pueyo is a senior energy and climate policy specialist with over 20 years’ experience working across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Pacific. She has advised governments, multilateral institutions, and research organisations on energy access, decarbonisation, and sustainable development, including roles with the Institute of Development Studies and New Zealand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Her expertise spans political economy analysis of energy systems, renewable energy investment, and climate policy. She has led major international research and advisory programmes, providing strategic guidance on energy transitions, inclusive growth, and climate finance.
