SDC Georgia Local Economic Development Online Workshop

Neil McCulloch (TPP Director) and team facilitated a 2 x 1/2 day online workshop, with the primary aim being to harmonize the understanding of HELVETAS and SDC-SCO regarding the context, intervention strategy, and anticipated outcomes of the Local Economic Development (LED) project in Georgia.

The workshop focussed on::

  • Undertaking a Context Analysis: Synthesizing the project context analysis helping the team to reach agreement on the problem statement and potential pathways of change. 

  • Helping to fine tune the Project Intervention Strategy by defining the plausible pathways of change and project intervention strategies

  • Reviewing the alignment of the existing logframe with the revised intervention strategy by taking into account a specific focus on exploring opportunities for the inclusion of process-specific indicators.
