Evaluation of IFAD's performance in the area of innovation
| Project Description: | The Policy Practice in association with CENTRIM at the University of Brighton have been commissioned by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) to undertake a Corporate Level Evaluation (CLE) of IFAD’s ongoing efforts and performance in the area of innovation. The Policy Practice is particularly tasked with the evaluation of the DFID financed Initiative for Mainstreaming Innovation (IMI). The IMI is a three year USD 10 million programme. Its goal is to enhance IFAD’s capacity to promote Innovations that will have a positive impact on rural poverty. It has three Components: 1) Strengthening innovations in IFAD operations, 2) Learning and sharing lessons on innovations, and 3) Changing organizational Culture and Practices. It has utilised the bulk of the funds through a small competitive grants programme. |
