Fiscal Space and Sustainability from the Perspective of the Health Sector
| Project Description: | Gareth Williams and Roger Hay were commissioned by the World Health Organisation and World Bank to draft a paper on fiscal space and fiscal sustainability from the perspective of the health sector in low income countries. This was presented to the High Level Forum on the Health MDGs in Paris in November 2005. The paper considers whether the additional resources provided by higher aid flows can be used effectively to raise expenditure on health to a higher level on a sustainable basis. |
